I started blogging here on Mindsay on December 30, 2004. A friend of mine got me into blogging, but his blog was on Blogger. (I dare you to try to say that sentence three times fast). I didn't like Blogger because it seemed too big. I wanted to blog somewhere more intimate. After a few weeks I felt Mindsay was the perfect fit.
One of the major features on my blog was a daily post I started called The 80's Song of the Day. I started doing the 80's Song of the Day because I always felt the 80's seemed like a decade of mindless fun. It was a bit shallow, but no one seemed to be as angry or pissed off as they do these days. The songs from the 80's seem to be enjoyed by both old school and new school kids alike.
Another fun blog I have is a blog Valentinaxxx and I started called deletedromance. The deletedromance blog is a humorous take on sex and sexuality from a woman's point of view. It's a mixture of low brow humor, high brow humor and a cold dose of reality. It's rarely updated because Valentina and I are often busy, but check it out if you get a chance.
I have met a lot of good people on Mindsay and many of them I've had the opportunity to meet in real life. This is one of the perks of Mindsay and this is why I'm still here. :)
Oh yeah, it's great to see so many past bloggers come back, even if it's only for a week.
