That is is crap! And adults are suppose to know better!
This is getting a bit excessive! The anti-Christ, my God. I hope these people realize they are suppose to practice what they preach, and they to will have to answer to God on their very own judgement day. I am so sick of the, "I know I'm a sinner, and I've gotten forgiveness for all by accepting Jesus into my life!" crap that these radical "reigious" people try to use. Yes, I understand the concept, I was raised in church, but I think they are abusing it. You don't get to use that as a blanket free pass to do all those things we "hethans" get preached at for. Which is exacty why I'm a "hethan", because my God isn't half as hateful as some of his supposed followers are.
The sad thing is that most of these so-called Christians are mixing up Nostradamus's predictions with the book of Revelations and verses in the book of John.
God help them!
God help them!
It's my turn for predictions:
Up next: Stoning people, perhaps? Maybe we'll burn some witches at the stake?

It's sad as hell, and there's no Happy Bunny that can express these emotions. What kind of motivation is it for people to work hard for real change when things like this happen?? It's not a matter of sore losers though. There were things like this said before Obama won the election. I was told that I was turning my back on God by voting for Obama. I don't think it's as simple as "my candidate lost so I'm going to piss in your Cheerios"....I think it's old school ignorance and racism continuing on generations. There are things I've heard that I'd care not to repeat, and while some of it may be partly because it's redneck country in Central WI, there is a large part that is simply because the hatred continues to be taught. That is reason to work hard for change!
I guess that's a good thing in the sense that it's shown people's true colors, and we can see them for who they really are...but it's also just....disappointing, I guess.
My husbands aunt also called us and told us that we would be facing Jesus on judgment day and have to answer for voting that man into office. We told her she was ignorant, and a bit crazy. And oh by the way, we were pretty sure that boozing it up every night on wine and beer would have to be answered to as well and then we promptly hung up on her before we could get *preached* at anymore. *shakes head*
lmao! You guys are so awesome for actually saying those things to her! I'm not sure I'd have the guts to be honest with my family in that way. Btw, you're wrong about boozing it up. It's only wrong if others do it. If she does it, it's okay. Damn double standards get confusing, don't they?

She's an absolute hypocrite that thinks she's better then everyone! It so annoying, and she moved to another state, finally!, so we were able to express ourselves and hang up and not have to worry about Thanksgiving! LOL What' better, is that my mother-in-law, her sister, told her pretty much the same thing! Now that is funny!
That's hilarious! She can't just blame you guys for being assholes then.....I'm sure she might try, but when enough people tell you the same thing, eventually it has to sink in that they might have a point. Then again, ignorance is bliss....she may look very lovely in her rose colored glasses and not want to take them off.
OMG...give the Cocolette a hug for me, would you? That's terrible to be exposed to.
There's a Gandhi quote that goes something along the lines that he likes Christ but its His followers he's got problems with. With friends like that who needs enemies?
I'm glad I'm a heathen too....sheesh.

It was hard to hear her say that because suddenly, her cheerful optimism turned to fear because of some non-thinking idiots!
You tell E she can be my president any time. These ignorant fuckers aren't going to ruin this for me.
Being from Texas, I have some loyalties to the state. In fact, my great-great-great-great-grandfather was a governor of Texas. That said, I'm glad I got out. Even as a kid, it was tough living in such a red state.
I can't believe there are still such bigots in this country. It makes me so angry and sad.

That's the thing, they're everywhere, not just Texas. The stories I'm hearing from people all over the country are appalling. Regardless of who you voted for, it shouldn't come to this.
We put up with 8 years of the Bush administration and managed to survive which is a miracle in itself. Yet, now somehow we're doomed?
