I kept wondering why they didn't cut her off before Randy said something. Ah, what could have been a really fun night (I do love Neil Diamond's songs) was a complete mess, Paula was just comedic relief...though she didn't know it.
If ever there was a television personality in need of a constant teleprompter, it's Paula Abdul
I can't believe I watched the entire episode last night! It was like watching a trainwreck. I just couldn't turn away.
that video of her is ridiculous. it's just a desperate attempt at a non singing over the hill has been to get back into the limelight for a few more dollars from die hard fans.
yeah that talk sounds like one i would want to skip, but i know what you mean about eldest female child curse...yeah....

I thought it was a decent song. I just noticed she was hardly moving and it was choreographed to compensate for the fact that she couldn't move as well as she could. I think it has sonething to do with her back injury which would be the reason why she'd be taking prescription pain killers.
Yeah, thirty minutes until the meeting from hell. Goody, I can't wait.
i forgot about her injury until you mentioned it here. i do know that i looked terribly stiff for her and so not characteristic. i mean you sing "dance like there's no tomorrow" and she isn't dancing much at all.
you have my prayers.
you have my prayers.
Myclette, I'm sorry about the parents. Mine are all frakked up, too, and as the baby I have taken on the brunt of the worry since they're approaching 80. Finally learning it's not worth it but will always be there if they need me. They got divorced when I was five, reconciled when I was seven, reseparated when I was nineteen, got back together when I was twenty-seven, the split again in '05. But she still takes care of his bills and other paperwork and he tends her yard and even recently helped her move.
Uh huh.
Uh huh.
Paula Abdul is the sole reason to watch AI; you never know what she will say or do in a drug addled haze.
And I don't see this as an example of divide and conquer with the Democrats. Dems always beat each other up in primary races. What this is turning out to be is a dose of the cold hard reality of big time politics in this country...everything in your life becomes fair game and you should never get too comfortable being the one that everyone loves because sooner or later those same people will rip you a new asshole. Obama is just getting a look at the flip side of things after a couple of months of being treated with kid gloves.

The fact that 28% of Democrats who support Hillary Clinton would rather vote for McCain than Obama if he gets the nomination sounds like the party is about to be divided AGAIN. It is typical divide and conquor and dems are falling for it AGAIN!
And 16% of Obama supporters wouldn't vote for Clinton if she got the nomination and I would imagine that among black people that number is probably in the high 90's...its not a one sided thing. The party is divided almost right down the middle which is why I foresee a repeat of Kennedy/Johnson with these two becoming a joint ticket.
But you seemed to be implying that all the division was coming from the Clinton side with her supporters being the ones who are fostering this division.
My bad if I read too much into your statement.
What do you think the odds are of a unity ticket to try and heal the wounds (self-inflicted and otherwise) that the Dems will be facing?
I think that is the only way that the Dem candidate doesn't lose to McCain in November.

B) Hillary Clinton supporters would rather vote for McCain out of spite than to vote for Obama if he gets the nomination and vice versa.
A unity ticket may be the only way to beat McCain. It would definitely heal the party rift. For the record, I support Obama, but I have no qualms about supporting Clinton if she got the nomination.
I'm not sure what the odds are, but if they want a united front, they'd better think about putting the other on their ticket.
