1000th Entry and my Two-Year Blogaversary.

Damn it, I missed my own Blogaversary on December 30th! I guess my mind was elsewhere.

I've met some interesting people in my two years as a Mindsayer.  Lots of laughs, debates, kind words and not-so-kind words. All of these make Mindsay a worth while blog spot.  Two years and 1000 posts later, I'm still here. :D

 

I had a FANTASTIC New Year's Eve.  I haven't been out on a New Year's Eve in nearly six years.  My husband doesn't like to go out much and this year he was up working late the night before and he just wasn't up to anything.  I made last minute plans to spend New Year's Eve with Environgirl and Torridgirl at our favorite British Pub, the Richmond Arms.  Here are some pictures from our evening:

Me and a guy in an AWESOME kilt.  I absolutely LOVED his plaid pattern. I forgot to ask him what clan his tartan pattern represented. He was very nice and was squeezing the hell outta me! LOL!  E-girl snapped the picture and said, "Okay, everybody say 'what's under that kilt'" The guy laughed and said, "Nothing but meat!" I almost died laughing!.  I wonder if its Angus beef...hmmm...*bad cocoa goddess, bad BAD!*

After the countdown, I made my customary call to my niece, tristaprez's oldest daughter and said, "Happy Birh...er New Years!" (I was kinda buzzed by then)  "I'm calling you from the future! It's the year 2007 and let me tell you -- you should see it. It's crazy!" 

Since she's in Las Vegas, NV she is two hours behind us. So every New Year's I call her from "the future".  It's a lame joke and I've been doing it ever since she was 11. Now this is the last year I can do it because she will be graduating from high school this year! They grow up so fast don't they??  Anyway a few minutes later I got a text message from TristaPrez's husband saying, "Greetings, I'm texting you from the past."
