hmm it's weird, the 3 movies that you pointed out had twist endings were the only 3 I liked. I guess I expect different things from m. night.
I feel that this movie has been promoted way too much. Every time I've been to the movies I've been bombarded with the preview for this film. It made me suspicious for some odd reason and I have decided not to go see it at this time.
You're suspicious because it was promoted so much? It certainly was promoted as much as Supeman or Pirates, but hey, I don't blame you for choosing not to see it. It might be worth a rental some day, or if you catch it on cable, but you should feel no great desire to run out to see it.
I don't know how it was for your theater in your area but for mine the trailer sometimes ran twice before the showing of a movie. I thought that was kind of weird, they really want us to see this film and for some reason it had the opposite effect on me. Plus the images didn't peak my interest.
Haha, sorry. I think it makes perfect sense that it didn't peak your interest. I think it's really weird that they ran the trailer twice. There must have been some sort of technical malfunction.
No I don't think it was a technical malfunction. It basically was the first trailer they ran followed by other trailers and then just before the movie would begin they'd play it again in shorter snippets sort of as a reminder...
I really am not a fan of M. Night Shyamalamadingdong. I mean, I liked Signs...and The Village wasn't TOO bad, but this movie was just not very good. I'm very upset that my sister drug me out to this one. Thanks for putting the world on notice.
Thanks for the warning. I was thinking of going to see it--not really dying to see it--but thouht, "hey, it's the M. Night guy, it should be good!" Well, you just tossed that theory out the window for me.
Thanks for the movie review.
