I am pretty good with computers. I can change parts, upgrade them, all that stuff. But last week my washing machine stopped working. My first thought was that I'd have to call a repairman, pay big bucks for a motor or transmisson or something.
I did some research online, and figured out the problem - a $13 coupler wore out. I took the washer apart and fixed it in a couple of hours. Works great now. This is the first time I've ever done anything like this, and it makes me feel pretty good when you are successful. builds your confidence level. Anyone could do this.
Now if I could only fix that pesky "Service Engine Soon" light on my car....
