Those Clintons just can't stop lying, can they?  A few days ago, former President Bill Clinton brought up the Bosnia scandal again.  Obviously, he'd try to downplay it, but in true Clinton-esque fashion, he told one whopper after another.  The vid features Tim Russert completely dismantling Bill's argument.

First, Clinton said that his wife described the events incorrectly because it was "late at night" and she was "tired."  He then says that she only made those comments "one time."  As we see from the video, everything is a complete fabrication on his part.  First, Hillary Clinton did not make those statements just one time, as we saw.  There are four documented instances of her painting a very inaccurate picture of the event.  Secondly, none of the statements were made "late at night" as the former president claims, they were all in the morning or early afternoon.

This leads me to my next point.  If we are to discard the evidence and believe the Clinton's explanation of her serious gaffe, why would I want to vote for someone who will make errors that extreme because she's "tired?"  I thought the whole point of her campaign was that she is the one who will be ready to pick up the red phone at 3 am.  If she's too tired to get her facts straight at 9 am, then why in the hell would I want her making life of death decisions for this country at 3 am?

Ladies and gentleman, this issue right here is what destroyed Senator Clinton's campaign.  There's no way she can recover from this.  Every time her or her husband tries to rationalize and justify it, it only exacerbates the situation.  Obama can get through the pastor controversy, but Clinton won't get past Bosnia.  If the earth shifted it's magnetic field, hell froze over, and she won the nomination, she'd be a sitting duck for John McCain.

The funny part is that they never stopped lying, but people are just now noticing.  The same people catching her now were defending her and Bill back in the nineties, but people were injured, ruined, and killed because of their lies back then, and no one screeching about these lies now even cared back then.  It's too bad, but this is hardly the first time.

That's very true.  There was the Whitewater scandal, then the Lewinsky fiasco, but the public didn't care.  The deficit was gone, the national debt was shrinking, the economy was doing well, and gas slipped under $1 a gallon.  The '96 election had one of the lowest voter turnouts in history because it was between 2 absolutely dismal candidates.

I hope no one gets into the office this time... I'm very proud of our national debt and lame economy and expensive gas.... Who wants cheap gas anyway? We get what we pay for, right? haha....

Anyway, http://blog.washingtonpost.com/fact-checker/2008/04/bill_shoots_from_the_hip.html
