there might be something in her past that she experienced that is causing this reaction. Or it might be that if he is 2yrs older that puts him at 16, i think my math is correct and that can have some real legal ramifications.
the robbing the cradle only applies when you are a teen, i accuse my husband of it all the time. if we had met when he was a teen, let's say he was 18 i would have been 11 ... lol.
maturity has a lot to do with it and reputation does too, sometimes you never find out why adults feel the way they do.
good luck sweetie!
Maybe. I think he said something about it giving his younger sister the wrong idea. but even still....
and yea hes 16 going on 17 soon.
Haha thats kind of funny
Thanks for the help of analysing her thoughts.
my thoughts exactly callie - my mom and stepdad were eight years apart. If they met when he was 16, she's be EIGHT YEARS OLD. thats what I told her to back off of my boyfriend, who, I might add, is considerably older than me.
just out of curiosity (I seem to be a very curious person...), whats the age difference between you and your boy?
7 years. It seems weird - but he's not a creep at all...I know most girls say that when dating an older guy but I'm not screwing around on this one, haha.
Humm this is a tough one...I say try to gradully win her over by proving somehow that your mature and not a bad kid. I agree, 2 years is not a big age gap I once dated a guy that was 2 years older than me so I dont see any problem with it either. But sometimes parents can be a little crazy about that stuff..or in my case its more of Rob
last week I told him about a 17 year old guy that has a crush on me and he told me if he touched me hed be dead
Good thing I dont like him back...

But anywho going back to answering your question, if you just prove your mature parents tend to like you alot better. Thats whats happened in my experinces anyways.
Yea i'll try. If I ever get to talk to her lol.
This is just very weird to me, usually parents just atomatically like me....hmm
thanks for the advice.
