The Phillies got a great bounce back win today against the Rockies, but more importantly Jim Thome hit his first home run of the season. Charlie Manuel joked that he wouldn't worry about Thome until about 350 at-bats, but Thome finally got his first.
The key for Thome is making sure he keeps his natural swing intact, and not force it to try and homer. His natural swing is so powerful if he relies on that, he'll hit 50 easy.
