Well, with so much season left to go and the closeness of the teams, who knows? I'd love to see them move past the Braves....(old issues).

I agree....my boys were hot today, we trounced SD .385 now for Derek Lee, that man is having a great at bat lately. I am so happy he is on our side...lol.

I never lost my faith in the Phillies... im a die hard.. i was second guessing some management... *cough* charlie manuel *cough* but i still thought its early enough in the season that they could come back.. and woo they did ...
It's not even about losing faith, it's just about being frustrated when you know for a fact that the players can play better and they're flat out not. Combine that with some early poor moves by the manager and they deserved all the boos they got.
People said I was nuts when I said the team was going to do well, but now they're playing like we knew they could.
Yeah but i heard alot of people bashing them also like radio personalities.. i mean they were 6.5 games back.. you can bounce back from 6.5 games like nothing... like they did...i mean why isnt anyone bashing colorado they 'are/were' 16.5 games back.. wouldnt you be saying more about them...not the tightest race in all of the NL.
They were on the spiral to being that far back, but they turned it around in the clubhouse. You get to a point that when people are bashing you, you either sit there and take it, or you act like a pro on the field and get the job done.
that i can understand especially from a guy who has been there..
