What do these words or phrases mean?
trendy party
hipster hot-spots
80s clothing (what the fuck does that mean? Did you look that shit up in a decades book from the library or some MTV youtube clips? Madonna, Michael Jackson? Sorry, I couldn't help myself, please explain.)
electro
hot shit
intelligent
ironic
I guess you would say.
special girl (my god or God, I think we have a romantic on our hands.)
worried
sweet.
But for now I will just vibe out to my day to day as I pay the bills and watch my friends pay theirs -- grabbing wings or styrofoam-tasting pizza and listening to comedians from Brooklyn or watching the odd hockey game on TV or drinking brews or chilling to some nice drum n' bass... mmmm.... tasty...
Think
etc.

First of all, my blog can be whatever I want it to be. It is purely a form of expression, or in this case, communication. Therefore I reserve the right to be either as highbrow or as lowbrow as I wish to be.
Second, subjective terms like "indie" "trendy" and "hipster" will never be fully and properly defined. That's what subjective means. However, in different arenas, some of these terms do have specific definitions.
For example, electro-house music is much different than Chicago-house music. In this case "electro" refers to a specific style of electronic music, embodying certain synth sounds and pandering to a particular collection of individuals (with "electro-house" it is generally e-heads or Parasuco-wearing dudes, with "electro" it's moreso the hipster kids).
When tracking social movements the science involved is quite rarely exact. Unfortunately.
And as far as the definition of "hipster" goes (a social category which has now become ironically redundant according to one alternative weekly these kids here read), I happen to think urbandictionary.com is not far off:

"Listens to bands that you have never heard of. Has hairstyle that can only be described as "complicated." (Most likely achieved by a minimum of one week not washing it.) Probably tattooed. Maybe gay. Definitely cooler than you. Reads Black Book, Nylon, and the Styles section of the New York Times. Drinks Pabst Blue Ribbon. Often. Complains. Always denies being a hipster. Hates the word. Probably living off parents money - and spends a great deal of it to look like they don't have any. Has friends and/or self cut hair. Dyes it frequently (black, white-blonde, etc. and until scalp bleeds). Has a closet full of clothing but usually wears same three things OVER AND OVER (most likely very tight black pants, scarf, and ironic tee-shirt). Chips off nail polish artfully after $50 manicure. Sleeps with everyone and talks about it at great volume in crowded coffee shops. Addicted to coffee, cigarettes (Parliaments, Kamel Reds, Lucky Strikes, etc.), and possibly cocaine. Claims to be in a band. Rehearsals consist of choosing outfits for next show and drinking PBR. Always on the list. Majors or majored in art, writing, or queer studies. Name-drops..."

...

...
