Goodness Mandy, is it really you? I'm glad you are liking Toronto. I'm sure it's really weird for you toexperience winter in December. How are you adjusting to the opposite seasons?
Hey! I know, it's almost a year, hasn't it? Let's just say things got busy and I got bored and decided that I needed a change. Boy, is THIS ever a change! I've decided that snow is pretty until you have to leave the apartment and have to navigate over black ice and slush
It's all a learning curve and so it's still exciting

Hey! Glad to see you back in the loop again! Sounds like Toronto and you are treating each other quite well.

Hi Mandy, it's great to hear from you again
. Are you permanently in Toronto or is this a temporary place? Sounds like you're doing well.

I've stopped Uni (for now) and got a bus admin traineeship. So will be learning loads about real work too. Couldn't imagine working in another country at this stage though! You're very brave for doing so.
I'm here for at least a year - after that, we'll see. It's all going pretty well so far.
How's the traineeship going? That sounds exciting! It's a new stage in your life for sure - good luck!!
Yeah, I had induction today, signed all the papers so that's all oficial. I don't know how it's going because I haven't started yet. I start on Monday and get to write OH & S documentation so it'll be good
or at least in my skill set.
or at least in my skill set.
A year's pretty long, at least even if you don't stay longer, you'll have heaps of friends to visit for holidays.
I had no idea you were even contemplating a move! I've missed you a lot, you know. I really hope you catch me up sometime!
You know, for a long time, I didn't know I was contemplating a move either, but I realised that I was stuck in a rut and I needed something drastic to get me out. This is as drastic as I could think of. It's only for a year at this stage and who knows, maybe it will be shock my system into doing instead of thinking all the time.
I'll catch you up - I promise!
It's great to hear from you again! I hope you're having a blast! So it's cold, huh? We're enjoying bright, sunny, hot days over here!
Na, it's COLD!!
I'm talking wind chill of -17 degrees and I know it's going to get colder, but this is bit of a shock to the ol' system, you know?
