Good luck! I think it's brave of you putting yourself out there... I don't think I can imagine myself going on a date with someone I've yet to met.
I knew this guy once who proclaimed his love for me after the second time I had ever met him (the first time being two days before) and was talking about our wedding after a week.
And I never even really went out with him.

Guys like that freak me out. I'm so not looking to get married next week and honestly, that kind of 'love' is something I can leave thank you very much.
We'll see what happens. I haven't heard from him yet as to what's actually happening so it could be a bust. I've moved all this way and I can't back out of meeting people now. I'm not a hermit and refused to become one.

Just be careful, he does sound like an all right guy, but might be an idea to bring a friend along for the first few minutes, until you find out if he's a good guy. Then your friend can make up an excuse to leave if he seems cool. Best of luck, it would be hard meeting people when you're in a new country.
Thanks for your advice, but I just got home and it was a great night out. Lots of fun at dinner and then playing pool and hey, it looks like we may even go out again so things are looking good
Good! I'm releaved you didn't end up with one of the weirdos out on the net. Hope things keep going well
