typo
Took me a second to see what you meant. That's a big mistake. Milimeters instead of Meters. Heck, only abreviate if you know what the abreviation stands for. 
I mean, I'm guessing they probably do, but someone made a huge typo there.
I think they meant to type 400m and instead got the 40mm. It's been fixed now - I emailed them last night, but I wonder if they would've seen it anyway!
They probably wouldn't. Probably are too busy with the next news paper to bother with already printed ones. But that is pretty poor editing.
It wasn't printed - it was the online version which is generally riddled with errors first thing before they correct it for the print run.
