Wow. I think it's wonderful that you could do that, and then share it, even if you didn't have to with the class. That may be an exercise I could use. Generally I feel down on myself all the time so it might be good to think about what I do like about me. Thank you for sharing that.

Yeah, I think it really helped me take a look at myself and see what my personality was like, ya know? And after I was done writing it, if this makes any sense at all, I felt like I knew myself better than before.
whoa i did the same thing in homeroom today. but i haven't finished it...
That's a great letter....I've often done such things before, though never as an assignment.
Ugh, I'd have hated to have to turn in my letter....

Well, I wasn't too worried about turning it in becuz our instructor told us to write whatever we thought, it really didn't matter. Otherwise I probly never would have wrote it!
Yeah, I guess I see what you mean. When I've done it in the past, I've written it to myself like, in a year advance (put it in an envelop with something like September 2009, for example) and read it a year later to see if I still felt the same way or if I'd changed at all.
In middle school my Geography teacher made us write letters to ourselves. I kind of wish some teachers would still do that now because I have a lot to say about myself, and I want to see if I really do change...
Maybe I will just write a letter to myself and open it in June. Hmmmm...
