lol, yeah, it was a long answer.........but that's ok. You know I love you to pieces and I'll always listen to you!
My one true wish..........that one, true, romantic, passionate love of a lifetime! Just that simple. Doesn't require money, great adventures, just love!
I believe it will happen. Sometimes we have to go through some hoops in order to appreciate who we have when we find that person. I believe it will happen for you.
Given my current situation, I'd probably be a sap and say the right man for me. With that kind of love, it doesn't matter how much money you have or where you live or the car you drive. It brings happiness, comfort, companionship, and a full life. Truly. Maybe I'm just a dreamer, but I can't let go of the hope of finding that person someday. I've got a song of my own that speaks to me like the one mom posted. A few of them actually, but one in particular. "First Time" by Lifehouse.
Don't give up hope you will find it, somethings in life might need to happen first before you find the right one. A lot of things had to happen in mine and Mark's life before we could be together. Don't lose hope!
It'll happen eventually. I'm not rushing it right now....after my last disaster, why rush into it? I could end up with another someone who a) lied about having feelings for me, b) is a loser who has no potential or realistic goals, c) is a loser who wouldn't be able to provide for a family, d) is a loser who couldn't talk about his feelings.....IS A LOSER!

good don't be in any hurries, maybe it will happen after school is over, or later, but when you stop looking for it, that's when it happens most times. I hope it's not a b c or d, and not e all of the above.
It better not be a, b, c, d, or all of the above. Last time I deal with someone like that again. Hopefully.
I would wish that my twin brother was still alive. He was killed in action recently,so he will never get to meet his new daughter.
I am sorry about your brother, you brother is a hero in my eyes! I will pray for you and your family.
yes...and that wish takes consistent concentration and practicing gratitude.
I believe it is do-able.
What do you think?
I am happy for you..I think .....we must work at happiness...see outside of our brains sometimes when we are overcome with the "woe is me" syndrome......practice gratitude and giving daily instead of complaining and grousing daily..Either of those mindsets become habit forming....I am consistently reminded of the wisdom of James Allen..."As a Man Thinketh, so He Becomes"
I have to practice gratitude daily...and it delights me to imagine my new "in progress" joyful self.
That quote is a very powerful one, I truly believe that is true, our minds are so powerful. I also like the quote "I never saw a wild thing feel sorry for itself." ~D.H. Lawrence
no....wild things...(natural animals) have highly developed instinct....They make the right choices..or die.
I like D.H. Lawrence's work.
He used this quote to reference self-pity, I believe self-pity is a lot of the reason why people make the choices they do.
yes..perhaps.
fear is another reason..
definately not a reason to celebrate.
but first ..we must understand why we do what we do..
and then ..........we are in a position to facilitate change.
