I am in an 80's kind of mood, yes I was a child in the 80's but I remember the clothes, the accessories, THE MUSIC!!!! I also remember the 80's being about expressing yourself. I get a kick watching movies such as, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Pretty In Pink, License to Drive, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, etc.
Talk about expressing yourself in the 80's if you listen to any 80's music, it's such a huge leap from 70's music and 90's music.
If you notice, the clothing is making a trendy comeback. It may have a 2008 twist to the 80's style, but for the most part, the clothes are the same, the purple and black, the red and black polka dot dresses, the animal prints, the glasses, and head scarves.
It's kind of fun to see it coming back, I feel like the 80's where a fun time for me growing up.
Please share your thoughts about the 80's. What did you think of them? Do you remember anything I left out?

80's music paved the way for unforgettable montages and fight scenes, it really added to the drama of a scene. And who could forget the synthesizers! They were everywhere! I remember girls wore warm-up leggings with flats, tights and a skirt to school, guys were 'pegging' their jeans (and I was a master at rolling cuffs, they wouldn't come undone until you took your pants off), and all cars were boxy. Here's another 80's flashback: The Commodore 64! w00t! My first computer at $212 (with tax, I learned about sales tax that year)

OH Yeah the A- Team "I pity the fool" Macguyver, awesome show all that man needed was a role of duct tape, his swiss army knife, and a match, he could save the world.
Good choices in music! lol yes the synthesizers were everywhere. The leggings and flats are back in style.
thanks for all the flashbacks, I remember these and sometimes miss them. By the way, Rainbow Bright was awesome!

Yeah, I've noticed that flats are making a huge comeback with the younger crowd. I tutor, and a lot of the girls are wearing them. Shiny too, I don't remember them being so shiny.
