I agree that it is a shameful waste but not that they are against you, altho it sounds like you are kidding.  How old are you anyway, that mom is still interfering like this?

But I understand that she would act like this, because I was raised in a pentecostal church and some of them are the same, while others are complete and utter hypocrites.  However, I am sure you have been taught right from wrong your whole life and it is about time that she let the Holy Spirit do the convicting, and you make your own choices.  She cannot keep an eye on your every move and most certainly cannot go to heaven or hell for you. 

P.S.  I know she means the best for you and probably loves you a lot, to give her her due.

I am a 19 year old male trapped in a house of Pentecostal Church Goers. As much as I respect your advice, I fully disagree that some holy spirit would ever change my mind about sex.  I know she is just trying to look out for me, but throwing religion at me like this is just absurd. It's stepping way over the boundries of rationality and heading towards hysteria... 

that is what i was trying to say...let u make your own choices in these matters, especially since you are of age...i am a preacher's wife, sister, daughter and probably, sooner or later, mother...i lived in south africa for 28 yrs as a missionary kid, daughter of parents who vascillated between never being there for us and preaching about us being the example because of the position we were in.  I am now 44 and still have a lot of bitterness concerning my parents, and still hate for others to preach about what i should do.  I say that they will answer for their own selves and to leave me the hell alone....

what are you going to do after you graduate, with the German?  Just wonder what job you will  get into...and, hey...get a post office box if you have to, or get your mail sent to a friend's....I say read what you want, order what you want, do what you want, as long as you respect your mom's home and acknowledge that they are still supporting you while you do nothing but go to school...lol

lol...I guess it never ends then does it...my mother will hound me till the day I die about the choices I make...

 

I am looking to get a PHd in German Literature/ English hopefully being able to teach in a university I have always loved language and it's what I do best...I am just one of those nerds destined to teach literature and language hahah...

that's why I blog so darn much. It keeps my writing all the time and I love it!

i know, its horrid. Its like "um thanks mom for opening my birthcontrol, im sure it had a bomb in it and you were just trying to protect me." I hate when she nags on me about the bank statements too!
