In the process of expanding ‘self’, i.e., intellect, will, emotions, conciousness, it’s impossible not to encounter the more expanded (or higher) degree of the principle of, or the relationship with, cause and effect, i.e., causality.

I agree with the scientific field’s proposition that there is, indeed, a “Theory of Everything”, and not only is it the basis for a unified field theory, but it is considered the grandest of theories.

There is an underlying force that sustains and maintains the physical universe and as unscientific as this may sound, I believe this force to be Love!  This belief determines Love to be, not only the answer to all questions, but in and of itself, the essential question as well, leading us to recognize Love, in it’s preestablished ascendancy, as All in All.

I am using a scientific concept to support spiritual truth.  All things exist and consist in this Truth which is, Love is the Infinite Creative Force underlying all beginnings!  From this point, every advancing stage of growth and development is a “becoming”.

Because you and I are simultaneously expanding our awareness of ourselves through sharing love of the creative process, i.e., expression of ideas, poetry, literature, art, music, philosophy, etc., we are eternally in an ongoing process of “becoming” new.

Any time energy is devoted to and expended toward the development of questions and ideas and then extended  to the implementation and resolution of those ideas and questions, it becomes a consciousness expanding experience from which we will not emerge as we once were, hence, we will be new.  We are constantly being “renewed” by the transforming of our mind (s).

It’s very possible that through the process of sharing, we will become aware of Love for/ from one another, but then, it will only be the awareness that is new and not the Love.  This is because Love is the Constant Is.  What is impossible, however, is that we may not interact with each other, even in the most innocent and abstract way, without, at some point in the process, becoming one.

after thought....Compassion and kindness are manifestations of Love.

Re: ...thoughts on becoming the unquestionable self...
All good and perfect gifts are from the father of lights, in whom is no shadow of turning.  And because he is love, everything good and all we are because of him, is directly love related.  And yes, the more we are transformed by the renewing of our minds, the more the love (or God) inside us grows, and is spread outward in a rippling effect to all we come in contact with.  And everyone who has shared the part of us we have shared with them, becomes a part of us, and thus we all become one. After all, we are all of the same human family, and when we become a part of the family of God, a part of us radiates out, spreading his love....

A great piece of writing, a wonderful and thought provoking concept.

Nice to hear from you again; I am sure it is time for an email, hey?

Robert Holden, Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle..... I think your thoughts are in sync with these popular gurus or spiritual guides.  More so, sense fo self and the idea of happiness and love can be found in the discussion of classical philosphers. I would suggest the "Art of Love" and the "art of being" by Erich Fromm.  For a more humanistic compassionist perspective look at Derrick Jensen "End Game."  Sense of self and love are very complicated, but intertwined.  for a romantic reading of the "self" have you read Reveries of a solitary walker by JJ Rousseau?

Re: ...thoughts on becoming the unquestionable self...
I honed my revolutionary instincts on the atrocities of the 50's & 60's, i..e., every observable instance of man's inhumaniy to man from Emmit Till, the Civil Rights Movement,  Kent State, Vietnam and the mistreatmnt of the vets, to the obvious an not so obvious assassinations, including Che', whom I loved and El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz,  for whom I would have gladly given my life and, in a sense, did.  Over the years, through various internal processes, all of that engendred, well warranted rage morphed into what I see to be the end of all analyses and the only relevant solution...Love!

If my thoughts are in sync with those you named, it's because we have a common Source.  I haven't read Fromm since "Escape From Freedom".  In terms of enlightenment, I trust my Source implicitly and prefer that my insights and spiritual evolution not be influenced by any other than my Eternal Highest Self.

However, I am the quintessential 'romantic' so I'll probably give Rousseau's book a read.

Thank you so much for visiting me and caring enough to comment.  You do realize you are a gift, don't you?

I'm just trying to bring about a better sense of self and humanity within myself personally and with others.  Little has really invoked a passion to take revolutionary action amongst current US dealings, but as I have stated in my blog I choose which causes are most pertinent and in need of my energies.  I find my postion and function as a revolutionary thinker to be that of a teacher and schoalr in education.  At times, I have been invigorated to drop all that I am doing and go to Bolivia, Chiapas, or Kenya and take side with the people aes the true threat of terrorism, ie, the threat to humanity, manifests in conflicts and political oppression.  Love is something contested, but something most would agree as innately desired by all.  Event he most horrendous and sadistic of man that could be found in the world cannot deny that somewhere under the torment of his inner being is love for others or for something(deviant or normal is referential and relative to the individual's perecpetion).  JJ Rousseau is one of my favorites.  I discovered him as an undergraduate in french edcuation and later came to really read his work in depth as literature, philosphy, and personal narrative (i.e. Conffessions).  Let
