First of all, I'm so sorry for your situation. My girlfriend has the same past as you, she was abused by an uncle, and when she decided to tell her parents, instead of being supportive, they denied the whole situation and said she was stupid for hiding it for so long.. ridiculous.
Second. Yeah, women are quite difficult to deal with. Actually, all relationships are difficult until we fully grasp the other person's personality. This situation with Eva had to happen, I think it happens in all relationships. And not necessarily with women only. It's just you two learning about each other's posture on the relationship. When you clear this situation up, it will all get back to normal. I hope.
As weird as this might sound, some women would rather feel as if they were owned by their partners. Women are biologically more monogamous than men, and so, some women actually enjoy feeling controlled by their men; it's a way of feeling that their men want them.
This happens more frequently with women who are more emotion-oriented. Women who are more logic-oriented are less likely to make a scene like Eva did.
My suggestion: try to figure out what kind of woman Eva is, and act accordingly. I believe that if you try to explain your reaction to her, later, when you're both less upset, she will understand. You seem like a nice guy.
By the way, is this your first public Minsay entry? Welcome

It's not about being controlled, unless the girl's REALLY a mess. It's that we want to know that our guys think that we're special. Since our emotions are so fluid, we're afraid that male emotions are the same way, and that if he hasn't said anything to signify that we still matter, that he's losing interest. So, girls will start doing things to try to make guys do something to say whether they matter or not, like attempting to arouse jealousy. The rationale that follows is, if he's not afraid of losing me, I must not matter that much to him.
As has been stated previously, women are insane.

Also, *hugs hard* wish I could have been there to listen to all of this. Your strength for getting through life-crud continually impresses me.
