Sometimes cool things happen last minute. Taylor Negron and I were asked to perform for LA Weekly LA Weekend at the Ricardo Montalbán Theatre (Now Nike's Montalbán Theatre... how classy). The tickets were something ridiculous like $30, but the lineup is pretty impressive (Henry Rollins and Chris Chaney of Jane's Addiction, to name a couple). It's for charity too, which is good. But then Nike really stepped up and decided that this event should be free to the public. That's right; FREE. So reserve your seats at rsvp@laweekly.com, and check out the
full lineup. We play Day Two, which is this Saturday, April 25th, at 7pm. If this whole event wasn't cool enough, let me just say Taylor and I will have a surprise guest. A legendary surprise guest. Everyone should be there.
