I would like to offer my congratulations to Duffy Craft. Duffy is the younger sister of my friend Mindy. Duffy is the only person I know that took advantage of Leap Day to get herself a husband. Duffy bravely proposed to her boyfriend Jeremy and, being a smart guy, he said yes! My congratulations to them both, though I must say I am really sorry that Duffy won't be getting that new dress after all.
I also just wanted to say that since the tradition was turned somewhat inside out, Duffy didn't think Jeremy would like an engagement ring, so she bought him a new motorcycle instead. Lucky guy, he gets the girl and the cool new toy.
Congratulations to them both, and score one for Duffy for being on top of this ancient tradition.
