I too have been meaning to sell some of my stuff on eBay but haven't gotten around to it. A good friend of mine constantly sells stuff there and never really has a problem with it. I suppose once you [we] get started and realise just how easy it is, it'll be no biggie. But for some reason I just can't get started. Anyways, enough about me. eBay is supposedly designed to be easy to sell whatever you want on there. The shipping stuff, as long as you have a box to put it in, that's all you need. Guess on your shipping costs, or go to the post office and get an estimate from them. Good luck!
Husband and Bri will probably kill me, but I think we need to sell the Wii... (it is so much fun though...)
Buy gold. Not to further stress you out, but it would be very bad idea to get pregnant any time soon. Whether they call it a depression, a recession, or an economic downturn we're on the verge of some major financial failures. The housing market falling apart is just the first of more to come.
I am sure it seems like there is no end in sight, but you will figure out a way. Is it possible to get a temporary part-time job? I know it would mean time away from the family but every little bit counts.
My husband has done the eBay thing before. You can include a shipping fee in the price of items so it is worth it for you. What about a yard sale? Would it be successful in your neighborhood?

Try not to let it overwhelm you, if you're going to be super stressed out over it you're going to do nothing but give yourself more problems with all the pressure you're going to put on yourself. I'm not one to give much financial advice since my situation is always in shambles but maybe make up a budget consisting of what your neccesities are, and maybe what things you spend money on that you could do without for a little while. Then take the difference or whatever and put them towards your bills or save it up for a rainy day when money gets low next time maybe. If only I could take my own advice with my own money situation I'd be good to go. haha
i am up shit's creek w/o a paddle right now, money wise. we're all screwed and we'd all help each other out if we weren't all in the same boat. i have no idea what advice to give you. honestly though, this might be a controversial thing to say, but what about seeing if Bri can get some print/commercial work? Even if you just start an account for her when she turns 18. She'd eat that sort of experience right up and it'll start her w/ a nest egg. Maybe one you can borrow from until you get out of this temporary rut. As long as you'll put it back b/c it's her money. I've always thought of that as as something to try w/ my own kids someday. They can have a bit of fun and a self esteem boost while unknowingly adding to a bank account that they can use when they graduate/get married/move out. I dunno, it has pros and cons. And this idea helps your situation now in no way....but it's something I've thought about.
Thanks again for being my guest blogger. You were a hit and therefore will have to do it for me in the future. You are waaaaay to popular over there, girl!!!
Love you. Tell the fam I said hi. And tell them I hope you capture a leprechaun so you can get his pot of gold.
