Peek-a-boo - I see you.

I was piddling around today and found I missed the interactions here on Mindsay. Though, to be fair, there are also good reasons to take a break. :)

How's everyone been? I'll be trying to catch up and reconnect the next little while so please say hello.

Re: Hello and Happy Mother's Day
Life has given me many challenges this spring, and I miss the busy interaction the mindsay community gave me over the past years.  I'm too tired to cultivate new relationships, so I especially miss the ones that have taken a blogging break .  Good to see you again.

Re: Hello and Happy Mother's Day
It's good that I'm still able to pop back in time and again to stay somewhat connected. Since starting this job, and honestly, since discovering Facebook, I've been very, very busy.

It's a different sort of interaction, and one that has some better sustainability in that it allows people to keep things more on a surface level - at least, that is what I'm finding. But at the same time, as time goes by we become more familiar and transparent and understand people a little better. Detachment becomes a friend in this case. It's been helpful for me this year as I have had to take care of my own recovery.

Now it's becoming all about business again these past couple of months. I've got to say, I'm really quite excited about everything.

I think that overall, that friendships that span time, continue to last as we understand that we have to live life in the real world, and pick up again when and where we can.

Summer is here, I'm working 30 hours a week, and taking the little guy (who is 4 now) to t-ball and swimming lessons, and we have a garden again this year, and I've got some other irons in the fire as well.

Re: Hello and Happy Mother's Day
I have been very busy Sandi. I've been working for a tech company this past 8 months. It has required a lot of stamina and endurance on so many levels. Change has been prolific and is still ongoing. I'm really not sure of what to expect right now, but the work is exciting and I'm finding a bit of a groove there now. The people are great too. If they weren't they'd have kicked me out on my sorry ass a long time ago.

Re: Hello and Happy Mother's Day
I always do, and am accused of 'too much.' Ah, but what are you going to do?

I've become a lot busier with work, which has been the biggest challenge this year: To juggle the demands of full-time work, multiple personalities, incredible demands, and keep taking daily steps to rebuild a crumbling life. I have had to tackle a lot of things, and that serious shoulder injury is just now becoming a lesser issue in my life. Most of the time, I don't even think about it anymore.

So lots of exciting things, and I enjoy the networking via Facebook which I'm avidly participating with daily. Ironically, my job encourages it as a significant part of my work involves building community both online and offline. From marketing, writing stories, building new web sites, and empowering others with technology, I've been wonderfully challenged and have learned a great deal. A good year and many more to come.

I'll keep popping in now and again as I can. I'm really glad to be able to keep in touch.

Re: Hello and Happy Mother's Day
Hey there!  I like your new pic; you are still as sexy as ever, altho I would like to see your smile again.  Blog and tell us what has been going on.  I have moved to Utah, (still married...) and I love it, altho miss my kids who are still back in Kentucky.  I am in KY for mother's day though and my daughter's graduation with Bach of Ed.  Will be back in Utah by Tuesday though.

Hope life has treated you well, although, since you have not been on here bitchin, it seems it must have been.  When one gets a life, one does not always need to blog quite as much sometimes.

Glad to see you and waiting to hear from you....

Bonniegirl.
