Heehee - that's an interesting factoid!  So, what did you feed them that had cinnamon on it? 

I wasn't very hungry this morning and so with my coffee just had a banana with a little almond milk and cinnamon sprinkled on top.  Usually I give them the milk when I'm done (funny, they don't seem to notice it's almond milk).  Well, my Konnichiwa had one taste and looked at me like I poisoned him.  Antha (who has NO self-control and keeps going until you take it away) wouldn't even touch it.
