With our move right around the corner, I can't help but to think of our safety in New York. Neither my son nor myself have ever truly experienced city life. You can visit a place and never really get the feel you would if you lived there. We will be in Queens for the first month or two, then moving into our new apartment in the Bronx. I know that Queens, the area we will be in, is rougher than the area of the Bronx where we will be later. I know that my son loves people and talking to them a lot. It is going to be hard for him to realize he can't just run around saying hello to people there. New York is the place where you can't look too long in a person's direction because you might get beaten or shot. I am tempted to look into
life insurance rates so I canget a hefty sized policy before we go. Sad, right? I drive by grass and trees and start crying. I know there are hardly any in New York City areas. *sigh*
