In Your Name, O God

You know it's a shame that we as a people in the United States cannot remember our history very well. Many of us don't even know our history. Nearly every nationality has been persecuted in their own right. There have been more killings and holocaust situations than many will ever realize. So many have been persecuted in the name of God that His name has become a blasphemy on many a tongue. The problem lies in the fact that the masses make up their minds too quickly about a given race. Who is to say that the religious masses don't all follow the same God but receive different messages? I am not saying this to argue, just putting my thoughts out there.

Muslims, of late, are the ones on the chopping block. Everyone is down on them including African Americans who were just being discriminated against in the worst ways. Take a look at the website :Islam explained. Take a read through the site with an open mind and take into consideration your own history. There are a lot of parallels with Muslims and Christanity. I am sure you will be able to read and gain a different perspective on the people many have come to hate. Just remember, many people were saying the same things about our ancestors.
