Just heard about Pressurelow natural blood pressure remedy remedy that works in less than 4 weeks. My poor husband suffers from high blood pressure, and this might be the ticket to getting his levels down. You know I am a big advocate of natural remedies, so of course this one is on my list of things to check out. It has a year guarantee, too, so it is at least worth a shot. What do you all think about it?

Re: Homeopathic solution for high blood pressure
I am a huge natural remedy person as well.  I do know that garlic capsules lower your blood pressure significantly.  My father and grandmother used this a lot.  I also used them when I was pregnant with my last two children because I had had toxemia with the first child.  My blood pressure stayed great.  I get gestational diabetes, too, and my sugars would be much better when I would take cinnamon in a hot tea!  It was amazing.  I did the realage thing online and it recommended getting enough potassium for blood pressure health.  I already take magnesium supplements, but I am going to check on the potassium as well.  I think it's worth a try!

if it happens that i do get pregnant again, i am going to try the garlic pills...because last time i ended up with preeclampsia. i wonder if they will do anything by way of preventing that. it's really awesome how these seemingly insignificant herbs make such great remedies!

Re: Homeopathic solution for high blood pressure
I know!  Well I took them and I never got preeclampsia with #2 & #3.  I have heard that it is more common with your first child and that it could be a reaction to the genetic portion of your child that is your husband's (like an immune response).  That is why a lot of proceeding pregnancies don't have the same problem...seemingly your body has learned to tolerate your husband's genetic differences.  I'm sure I am not explaining that correctly.  Basically, any first pregnancy with a man seems to cause preeclampsia more often.  If you were ever to have a child with another man for whatever reason, you would probably have it again...but not with pregnancies with your husband.

Another thing that helped me was eating lots of protein.  I did this because of my sugar levels, mainly, but I think it helped too.  I ate very few carbohydrates, especially refined ones, and ate lots of eggs, meats, and vegetables. I absolutely stayed away from sugar.  But who knows.

the doctor told us the opposite. that it will be even more likely to have problems the 2nd time around and she begged us to wait at least 2 years before having another child. she also said with another man it would be way less likely. it's all a toss up anyway. whatever God decides to do is what He decides to do...

Re: Homeopathic solution for high blood pressure
Hmm....I dunno.  That's very strange.  But you are right, though, there is no clear cut way to prevent it, it's in God's hands.  All I can tell you is that I did not have any problems at all the second and third time around.  But I could be just odd, lol.  I think really all they have are theories at this point and no real answers.  I agree with you....leave it to God and just do the best you can.
