Yeah,... the message wasn't too positive, but it was definitely confirmed.

I think his exact words were "people are arrogantly walking around like they are demi-gods" Even so, I don't think you're arrogant... not too much, anyway.

I know sometimes you think I am arrogant.  I am sometimes.  I think it is a requirement of Gods and Demi-Gods even more so (because they have an inferiority complex concerning their relationship to God's!).

 

Anyway, arrogance is okay as long as it is put in perspective - everything has it's place.  I imagine you might say this:  "To be arrogant is one thing....To be arrogant AND an ASS is a totally different thing."

Hey, what if the two are unrelated?  I'm pretty sure I've always been an ass, whereas I have only recently fully embraced my arrogance.  The only time it's wrong to think you're great is when you're not, and clearly I am, so its ok to be arrogant. 

I think you make a good point... it's okay to be an arrogant ass is when you are really a great person. When I meet you, I'll be sure to bow... or am I supposed to kiss your ring? Not sure... what's the woopecker protocol?

I prefer my adoration to be shown through interpretative dance.

Well, then your heading should be

 

"I AM AN ASS/DEMI-GOD!!!"  or  "I AM AN ASS + DEMI-GOD!!!"

 

or something like that.  This way, people know which one came first.

 

 

You're right also about thinking you're great.  The only time it's wrong is when you're not - which means you are PRETENDING you're great which means you are ARROGANT (see my blog about definitions).

 

So to be an arrogant ass is to be PRETENDING you're an ASS when actually you're not.............

This also relates to modesty, which is safe to say is the opposite of arrogance.  If you did do something great, but pretend it wasn't, then you're just lying.  If alternatively you did something great, but don't think you did, you just have low self esteem. 

I am glad to see you are comfortable with who you are. Gotta love yourself... huh? especially if you are going to be arrogant and an ass.
