It is clear from the context that Hillary was invoking a familiar political circumstance in order to support her decision to stay in the race through June. I have heard her make this reference before, also citing her husband's 1992 race, both of which were hard fought through June. I understand how highly charged the atmosphere is, but I think it is a mistake for people to take offense. Robert Kennedy Jr.

It's just a damning statement on the way that supporters of both of these candidates have completely gone off the rails in this primary season. To have lines in the sand drawn so vehemently by people who are going to need each other in order to win in November is so ridiculously counterproductive.
It also seems like Keith (and MSNBC) have decided that the best way to get Clinton's supporters is by vilifying her to the point that her support turns away from her in disgust. The problem with that strategy is that it is more likely to make Clinton's supporters even more hardline because they feel the need to defend her.

I have to admit that I am a bit disappointed at all the lost time. But yes, it does exactly as you say.
Yeah, it is absolutely ridiculous that all our news media seems to want to do is play "gotcha!" with every word out of the mouths these candidates and anyone associated with them. Heaven forbid if the 24 hour news networks just reported the news and spent time on discussing policy issues.
But when the words are taken so out of context that they are twisted to show some hope on Clinton's part to see her opponent dead makes it much worse than anything else we've seen this primary season.

That isn't what I meant. It is more of a travesty in my opinion because the twisters are making it sound like she wants Obama to be murdered. That is a line that shouldn't be crossed.
This is just an election after all not war.

Keith and MSNBC went into the tank solidly for Obama back in January and the network has now essentially become the liberal equivalent of FOX News.
