Let the crying begin.
Giants -21
Cowboys -17
The Divisional playoffs ended on a high note yesterday. I heard many bodies hitting the ground as people threw themselves off rooftops last night. Check out T.O.:
"This is not about Tony," Owens said, sobbing. "You guys can point the finger at him. You can talk about the vacation. And if you do that, it's really unfair. It's really unfair. It's my team. It's my quarterback. If you guys do that, man, it's unfair. We lost as a team. We lost as a team, man."
Wah!! Boohoo!!
That ought to teach those arrogant pricks. And speaking of people with no class...
Let's turn our attention to another group of fans. Indy fans, what were you thinking?
Chargers -28
Colts -24
I started out this game rooting for the Colts just because I hate the Chargers more. However, I changed my mind after something that happened in between the 3rd and 4th quarters. A little presentation was held for the national winners of the NFL's punt, pass and kick competitions. This is a program set up for the youths of America. The winners get to show up on TV during one playoff game every year and receive their awards. Yesterday, the winners are being announced and everything is fine and dandy. Each kid is wearing a jersey of their favorite team. Then a little girl is awarded who happens to be wearing a New England Patriots jersey. The Indy crowd starts booing! They hate the Patriots so much that they let their rage out on a kid!
They deserved to lose after that classless showing. That said, Chargers QB Philip Rivers is also a clown. He could be seen jawing with the fans for most of the second half. Hey, grow up, man! Let's see how much you run your mouth in New England next week.
Here are my predictions for the championship games:
Chargers -17
Patriots -34
Giants -14
Packers -28
