From www.prisonplanet.com:

During a campaign stop in Austin Texas this weekend, Presidential candidate Ron Paul called for bringing home U.S. troops and an end to a welfare state that benefits only big business at the expense of the poor and the middle class, while attacking his rival candidates as establishment shills who are out of touch with the sentiment of the American people.

The Texas Congressman also slammed the New World Order, the North American Union and the move towards global government which is being implemented partly by the erosion of U.S. sovereignty and the Bush administration's suicidal immigration policy.

"I think even our first President Bush said that the New World Order was in tune and that's what they were working for. The U.N. is part of that government. They're working right now very significantly for a North American Union - that's why there are a lot of people in Washington right now who don't care too much about our borders. They have a philosophic belief that national sovereignty is not important. It's also the reason that I have made very strong suggestion that we need not be in the United Nations for our national security," Congressman Paul said.

Go here to read the rest. Watch the short video of Dr. Paul talking about the NWO, NAU and the decline of the dollar.

Re: Ron Paul on the New World Order
Wait a minute, I thought the New World Order was a group of bad guys in the wrestling business. Hulk Hogan was part of them. What's this have to do with politics?!

Kidding. But yet another example of why it's making more and more sense to vote for Ron Paul. He really is making most of the Republican Party look stupid.

You won me over already, no more propaganda required!

Scary shit though...

Re: Ron Paul on the New World Order
Well, G.W. Bush once said that in his line of work you need to "catapult the propaganda." That's one of the few times that I agreed with him. Haha.

Propaganda is a vital part of effective leadership.  You'll always be making a lot of people unhappy, especially when you're doing the right thing, and so you have to use some serious uppers.

Re: Ron Paul on the New World Order
The only problem is that I fear the media or the other candidates will try to smear him. They will probably call him a conspiracy theorist which some people view in a bad light. We shall see...

You fear they *will*?! They're already pulling out all the stops. Smearing will happen.

Re: Ron Paul on the New World Order
Haha. I noticed and voted for it. I just didn't have anything to add. You pretty much said it all. I herd a funny comment on a conservative radio show talking about the JFK assassination. The guy was very angry about the amnesty bill at the time and he noticed a story about JFK in the newspaper. He said that he doesn't know anybody who thinks that there was only one shooter. However, he said that it doesn't matter anymore who the second shooter was because we have more pressing issues. The guy normally hates all talk of conspiracy theories. I guess he's coming around.

Ron Paul called for bringing home U.S. troops - I"m all for this part.

and an end to a welfare state that benefits only big business at the expense of the poor and the middle class  - what is this "welfare state" and how does it hurt the poor and middle class?

and what exactly does he mean by "New World Order" ?

The rich get richer and the poor... DIE!

Think about welfare - who funds it?

The Middle Class!

Re: Ron Paul on the New World Order
Ok, so what he refers to as the New World Order I refer to as 'the race to the bottom'. Same idea, different language.

As far as welfare state, do you mean just welfare or any tax funded program? For instance, I attend college because I receive federal student aid. The money I make without student aid isn't enough to pay for my needs and for college tuition. Would getting rid of the "welfare state" mean I would not be able to finish college and would have to work a crappy labor job the rest of my life?

I'm not sure of his stance on school loans/education, but I see no reason for him to oppose it.

Re: Ron Paul on the New World Order
I don't see why there would be cuts in education. There would be plenty of money to use on education instead of pointless war.

Re: Ron Paul on the New World Order
I just had a thought. If the war in the middle east is bound to fail then what's the point in fighting. I don't think America is willing to make the sacrafices necessary to win this war and if this is the case then we should just get out and cut our losses. There will be consequences but I guess we'll deal with them later. Ofcourse there is the government we put in place which will suffer the most. Most of them will probably be killed and Iraq will become a Shiite state like Iran. Even our friends will hate us for not supporting them against the enemy and no one in the middle east will have any respect for the great Satan. America will eventually be destroyed or forced into a larger war that it might not have the guts for either. Americans are too fond of their lavish lifestyles to sacrafice much which is what I think will ultimately destroy America. Rome wasn't built in a day and it took centuries to destroy the empire. It may take a little while but I would not be too surprised if America met the same fate. Like I heard a Muslim say one time on CNN, it may take a while but there will eventually be a world power that is an Islamic state. Muslims are evil. They're even worse than Christians which should be common sense if you're paying attention to current events. The Nazis used to speak of a Jewish conspiracy to take over the world. The truth is there is a real Muslim conspiracy to do just that. I just hope the west is ready to defend it's ideas because the only way we're going to win this war is to win the war of ideas. See ya!
