On Monday, the local paper ran a story titled Study: Americans Getting More Work, Less Pay. It said, "Wages stopped rising and actually began losing ground starting in 2001, despite continued growth in productivity and corporate profits." It also said, "In 2005, CEO's earned about 262 times more than the average worker, according to EPI data. Forty years ago, that ratio was much smaller, with CEO's earning 24 times more."

What have these thieves done to earn these high salaries? Does anyone care that average hard working Americans are getting stiffed?

The local fishwrap decided to interview some natives to get their opinions on these issues. Here is a quote from a person who is considered a local celebrity. Here is the quote from "Brother" Gary Moses, "I put the job first, whether or not I get paid. If a job calls for working more, that's what you do."

In that case, I've got some work for you to do. Can you please come over and wash my car and wash the dishes? I'll pay you next year. Corporate America must love clowns like these.

LMAO. You didn't mention the outsourcing of jobs though. And CEO = thief ?? *applause* Moses does have a point.....though that doesn't apply to most people because so many places refuse to pay overtime.

Btw, you haven't mentioned this, but I wanted to remind you if you didn't know.....tonight on CBS (9 central time) there is going to be a special news show--Katie Couric interviewing Sir Prez about how safe we are now, since 9/11. Let us know what you think, if you get a chance to see it.

Alrighty then! Glad to hear I didn't waste my time watching!

There's also a 2 hour thing on Sunday on CBS about "the road to 9/11".....something I'm sure you and James would take notes and point out contradictions, etc. I don't intend to waste my time watching it, but I'm sure one or both of you would let us all know how screwed up everything is.

Are you talking about The Path to 9/11? That thing is a joke. It is an admitted docu-drama. Which means that it isn't all true. There is a lot of controversial stuff in there. I'll try to get you some more info on this.

Yeah, the one on this Sunday......I was just seeing some other headlines where the democrats are pretty much saying the same thing. I've already stated that there is no way I will be watching it. I have better things to do with a 2 hour time span.
