When I'm not busy being the other woman :) I can be found at SUNY Buffalo working on my PhD in Reading.
I started here on mindsay at the urging of
drunkenoso who, while still listed as a friend, has not posted in over a year. Most of my dear friends here have seen me go from my masters degree to hopeful, and at times not so hopeful, about finding love, being accepted to the PhD program, buying a house.... you know all the fun stuff grown-ups do :)
A couple of people here really supported when I moved to hell, otherwise known as Maryland, to marry someone who turned out to be related to the anti-Christ. Not that I believe in the resurrectional ability of anyone who has officially died. Needless to say I didn't get married, I moved back to New York, and I went back to school- like I should have done in the first place. Bitter? Who me?
So I bought my house, started dating a guy I went to high school with and last month we celebrated our two year dating anniversary. My kids have turned into teenagers and with everything else there isn't much time to blog any more. I guess you could say I grew up (a little bit) and moved on. Most days I am on Facebook, I don't seem to be able to resist the games :) Besides.... how else am I going to know what my kids are up to?
