This morning I typed Brian Jones in google and my blog came up as the last link on the first page. Very cool! Thanks to everyone for linking to my site--it helps my Google rankings. This goal was one of my 43things.com. Watch out Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones!

In a completely unrelated topic, I just noticed that the Mindsay people have implemented tagging to blog posts--I'm very impressed. Tagging is becoming very popular, and is used by sites such as flickr.com and 43things.com. Basically, taggings is when you assign keywords to an object, such as a picture, or a blog entry, and those tags help other people find posts to a similar topic. For example, lets say I was going to do a sermon on loneliness. With tagging, I could do a search for blog entries tagged with loneliness, and find out what people are saying about it.

Re: Google Search Results
My home page used to be #1 Richard Pepper (which is not the same as beating out a Rolling Stone, I admit). But then it slipped. But I just checked and my blogspot blog is #!. Woo hoo! It is ridiculously easy to shoot way up Google rankings in a day by mentioning something in a Mindsay blog.
