Yesterday I went to the church and stayed for the mass.. something I hadn't done in.. years. I actually felt as a hypocrite when I was up there near the priest, doing my role as an acolyte - the thing is - I no longer believe that much in God, and the catholic church? Is dead to me.

I went there more for the experience of belonging to a community than anything else. Sometimes I feel like I don't belong anywhere. Four years in the mainland, four other years in a different island and now back at my original home.. nothing feels like home anymore. I actually felt useful and welcomed, they reacted as if they had missed me. That's always a good thing: feeling that we're useful to someone.

Later I went out with my colleagues from nursing school, it was only okay. Whenever more than two nurses get together the talk is always the same: NURSING. Jeee.. change the record! Let's have some fun and forget our job! Nursing can be a beautiful thing, but it can also be a very depressing one!

Even later I found a great friend of mine in one of the bars I went. It was great. Sometimes he is a great company. We had a few beers, we talked about girls, nutrition, girls, fitness, girls, politics, girls and music. I even met an old acquaintance from a different island, who is currently working in my island. It was crazy. And fun.

It was specially fun because we were all able to control what we drank and nobody went K.O.. That's always a good thing.. being in a state of alcoholic well-being..

If you're like me, who would rather stay at home and make his own disco party, here are two suggestions for your dance music playlist.

Don't Know Why (Jerome Isma-Ae radio edit) by Moony
Probably, the best remix of the year.

In and Out of Love by Armin van Buuren ft Sharon den Adel
The last time I checked, Sharon was the lead vocals of Within Temptation, a gothic metal band. It's good to see DJs outsourcing good voices.

Dance music ALWAYS sounds better with a great voice and a continuous base melody. Stop with the void techno crap.
