They (whomever they are) say that something like 30% of job hunters are eliminated from hiring (that's like pre-firing) because of things they've posted on blogs or social networking sites like Facebook or here.

Well, my response is, " If you can't handle honest comedy, life happenings, political commentary and all the strange things encountered every day...."

my issue is going to work in a professional atmosphere with people who have no clue what professionalism means; i spent almost 12 years being my own boss...i was *great* to work for...i took myself out to eat, rewarded creative behaviors, etc.  *g*   my last stint of employment out of my bubble, in health care (assisted living) just reaffirmed this basic truth for me:  there are a lot of stupid people who should not be in positions of authority...actually, they shouldn't be let out of the house.  i loved my work with our clients/patients...but i loathed my job.
