The race for Glendale on Jan. 8 has taken another turn. Louisville trounces W. Virginia 44-34. More than likely, Louisville and Rutgers (yes, the State University of New Jersey) should up their ranking in the BCS poll that comes out Sunday evening. If the Scarlet Knights beat the Cardinals next Thursday night on ESPN, the people that run the BCS are more than likely going to have a heart attack. Another team that could give the BCS a major scare is the Razorbacks from Arkansas. People tend to forget that they have a 2-game lead on Auburn in the SEC West for 1st, have the conference's only unblemished conf. record, and that if they tie with Auburn at the end of the season for 1st place, the Hogs have the tiebreaker, and more than likely would face Florida in the SEC Title game in Atlanta. It's about time we see some fresh faces in the BCS. It's good for the sport. Even though some of you do not like the BCS, I feel it's the best way right now to settle on the top 2 teams for the national title game. Please feel free to chime in.
