I'm going to see
The Dark Knight tonight! A bunch of us are heading to the IMAX theater in KOP for the 8:00 showing tonight, and I'm so, so excited. I haven't read any reviews and have changed the TV/radio station whenever someone goes into a discussion on the movie. I want to go into this with no other preconception other than knowing it's going to be mind-blowingly AWESOME.
And, AND, there will be a preview for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! I strongly disliked the book, but am excited for the movie for the simple reason that the HP world continues on screen even though the books are finished. Well, that and DanRad. =D
Work today is going to be slow, I can tell already. I've only been here for about 45 minutes and am already having a hard time getting started (as one can tell by my blogging this early). Just have way too much on my mind right now, and work is pretty low on the totem pole. One thing is Brittany's baby shower tomorrow afternoon, and even though I've surpassed my budget for gifts, I can't help but continue to stalk the registry on BabiesRUs.com and think of more things to buy. There are still a lot of items on the registry, and while I know perfectly well that not everyone goes by that and will often buy similar items not on the registry... I still think, "Oh no! They're going to need that! Why hasn't anyone bought it? Maybe I should stop by Babies 'R Us on the way home today..." I'm so going to be the aunt who spoils her nephew senseless.
All right, guess I better attempt to get some work done. Next week is going to be crazy...
