If I hear one more person tell me to vote for Obama because he can end the political

gridlock I am going to scream.  This argument fails for two reasons; First, it assumes that Hillary cannot reach across the aisle and work with Republicans. Second, it assumes that the Republicans will be so happy to see Obama elected that they will work with him on implemented

his agenda.  Hillary has demonstrated that she can in fact reach across the aisle. Her record in

the Senate includes co-sponsering important legislation and working with Republican Senators on a myriad of issues.  If she is so devisive, where is the evidence based upon her two terms in the Senate?  Obama is a fine candidate and would also make a fine president, but let's not kid ourselves; the Republicans have their agenda, they will resent a Democratic election victory and

do anything they can to see a Democratic administration fail. If you want to vote for Obama because he is young, hopeful, inspirational and intelligent, that would be fine-just don't delude

yourself that his presidency will end our bitter political divisions.
