I don't know. Not only did I date one guy named Mike, but two, and one of my brother's names is Michael. I've known guys with that name that aren't douche bags, but I didn't date them.
I know that not all Mike's are assholes. But it seems to me that the ratio is very unbalanced.

From what I know, I'd say the ratio is close to 4:1 but I wouldn't say it's any worse than that but it's still pretty bad. I'd rather have the initials I have than to have Mike for a first name.

Well, it is a pretty simple word. Guess they just wanted to give you your middle name badly enough that they didn't take notice. Though, your initials are no worse than my last name.
Hell, I could've been a Jr. and it would've been better for me. Just switch the first and middle around. At time's I've gone with the first letter of my first name and full middle. It actually sounds powerful and important when done that way. Like, the type of name buildings and bridges are named after.

Yeah, I guess they could have done that and called you by your middle name. That's the first name of one of my cousins on my mother's side, it sounds the same, at least.
Yeah, I'm gonna miss it though. Even though I was teased unmercifully throughout elementary school I have grown quite fond of my last name. I almost want to hyphenate when I get married, but then it'd just sound really weird. You could always legally change your name. Like you said just switch your middle and first names around. No one will know the difference.
