Last night was so much fun!  We went over to my sister in law Kathy's to celebrate Lauren's 2nd birthday.  Earlier in the day I had gone out to buy her a baby doll and a gift bag, card, etc. to wrap up the loot we got for her.  I took everything up to my Mom's and began assembling the package.  The gift bag I bought I admit was HUGE and my mom made mention of it.  It wasn't until everything was in the bag that she realized why the bag was so big!  She said "You don't love that little girl or anything do you?"  Which is a silly question because of course I do.  I have so much fun hanging out with her and Kathy and getting my "girl fix" since I don't think Jack would appreciate it if I bought him dresses or dolls.
When we arrived at Kat's Lulu as her brothers like to call her and a nickname I personally think suits her to a T greeted us at the door with a Tiara on ready to celebrate her day.  She was princess for a day!  The night was a whirlwind of the kids playing, adults talking and everyone having a really good time. Lauren received many cool gifts, clothes which even at her very young age she already has an appreciation for (thats my girl:)), dolls, blocks, a gorgeous teddy bear and a wonderful toy kitchen from her Mom and Dad.  Wouldn't you know that of all the gifts she received the boys loved the kitchen the most!  You should have seen all of them scrambling around it "making food" it was quite a sight to see.  Jack was so excited to come over and play it was all he could talk about.  It was a long but also very nice evening.  I couldn't believe my eyes when I buckled Jack into his car seat and turned the car on and saw that it was almost 10PM!  Needless to say he managed to sleep in this morning past 9 which was so  nice.
Well Kathy and I are going to visit the local swimming pool on Wednesday to see if I can get Jack signed up for lessons!  So the next pictures I am likely to post will be from the pool.  I hope you enjoy the pictures because I certainly enjoyed taking them.  Happy Saturday Everyone!

Re: LuLu turns two and boy did we have one heck of a party!
Thanks again, Angela, for keeping me a part of all this!  It was so funny with your description of "Princess Lulu" and her tiara!!!!  It SO fits her!!!!  And that's what the pictures look like!

Hope Jack will like swimming - I'm a strong believer in teaching the kids early, how to survive in water!  Looking forward to the pictures!

It was so much fun for everyone.  Jack adores his little cousin Lauren so it was a special day for him as well.  Plus Laurens birthday is the last one of the summer before Jacks so he knows he will be next.  Thanks for reading and commenting
