Have you ever tried to blog and keep experiencing pop-ups on your screen? It's kinda like trying to call someone's name, but you don't know whether or not they heard you because their name keeps echoing back at you!

You write a few words and there you are! ... this ad for a sexy, slim body just like this or that star, or a guaranteed way for a person to keep his erection until his partner is "fully satisfied", or anything and everything that is tantalizing to the eye!

Do I want to check out the dating scene that has a lonely soul mate, waiting just for me? Do I want to get rich over night? Or perhaps a special price for the second breast if I get one enhanced... :) I know; that is a bit far fetched, but you get my drift!

Well, this is what is happening in my mind. It's like there's a short in my wires or something. I spend each day, going through the motions. I nod my head as though I am enthralled with the conversation going on around me and try to sound intelligent in my reply. However, I realize that I haven't actually heard a word that has been said, or remember what I answered. I may have signed my life away, for all I know--because you are always on my mind!

I know this may sound a bit repetitious, but hell! No wonder they said that from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks! The good Old Book definitely has never spoken a truer word. And another cliche is that many a true word is spoken in jest.  Yes, I am being humorous, but I am truly speaking words from my heart as I ramble on here!

I know I have compared my thoughts to irritating, distracting, and definitely INTRUDING pop ups. You are always on my mind, but it is not you I would rather escape from, but from the regular, hum drum, wearying and desperate life I am forced to live from day to day, just to be with you!

So, just to cap this off...thank you for "popping up" into my life.
I can't wait for the next sign of you on my computer when I am trying to do something else.
You cause the light to emanate from my countenance and my dreams to feel real.

Re: INTERFERENCE
As I was reading it I was already thinking.. "girl, you gotta get Firefox, it has a great built in pop-up blocker.."

That was a crazy analogy Can this be considered a metaphor?

Re: INTERFERENCE
Of course! I use all kinds of examples in my writing, and when I originally wrote something along these lines, my computer had a virus that was driving me mad...so I used it again for this.
See? Everything I write seems real, hey? I'm that good! lol
