Thank you for letting us know about this great opportunity to affect change in the world. I signed the petition. China should consider the following quote:
If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other. --Mother Teresa
It was when I did a wee bit of artwork for a friend of mine at SpiritHub.org, some decorations for a discussion thread we participate on that I became acquainted with the photographs at Flickr.com featuring Tibet. By the time I was done I felt so much closer to the people there, and fell in love with their culture and people. At SpiritHub one of the things we are involved with is working with the teachings of Djwhal Kuhl as channeled through Terri Newlon. I thoroughly enjoy the version of "DK" (as we affectionately refer to him) that Terri works with and find much of the information comes through with simple and non-confining techniques and suggestions that work well for me. I'm not one to adhere closely to "rules" or too much regidity - in fact it would repel me in most cases. However my work with Terri and DK has been deliciously free-form and always inspired. I have my own regular psychic encounters with DK's presence and am continuously encouraged to follow my intuitions and nudgings. DK is also known as the Tibetian. I guess it seems only normal that would encourage me to be supportive of Tibet's people if I have the chance. One woman from New Zealand that hosts and organizes the discussion forum travelled there just last year. Note; there's a link to Terri Newlon's website on my main page here at MindSay in the side bar near the calendar if you're interested in exploring there!
Thanks for signing the petition. You're right - Mother Teresa's words might be the sort of thing to help China's government awaken.
Peace;
Cheryl

I am Chinese.
First, please remove the photo on the top right of the linked page, those are not Chinese soilders. Second, not every Tibet people are gentler and kind. In 1960s, you people think the Chinese were angels; in 1970s, you people thought the Afghanistani fighting Soviet Union were heros, as shown in movie First Blood starring Sylvester Stallone. While today, the Chinese are brainwashed cults, the Afghanistani are terrorists.

I am not intended to interfere you, just notify you there is a small mistake, and hope you will take the correct method, carrying forward it justifiedly without prejudices.
Tibet is beautiful. If no villeins as Tibet used to be, one earth one country is impossible, more countries in the world result in least troubles, then why should us say no to the independence of Tibet?
Best regards
