Well .... sort of ....

Our local news out of Medford reported tonight that some folks out lost in the snow found a box that happened to be a geocache. On that box were the coordinates written to where they were. They were able to call out and give the search and rescue people those coordinates and were found shortly thereafter.

I wonder if they put it back properly where it belongs ????

So .... I have made a decision for the memorial tattoo. I will have it done this spring once we have a steady income again. But for the time being ..... I really had this dragonfly idea in my head and it just wouldn't let go. But I wanted something special .... blueeyedtawni and cllecr had both come up with some awesome suggestions and up until this morning I've been thinking of a design to go with. Then I looked over at my little filing cabinet next to the computer and there sat my answer.

I'm thinking cllecr may recognize this .... I love it .... and the design is perfect. It has been emailed (like that is really going to help) to the tattoo dude and I am waiting for an answer ....

Ok .... first I will apologize for the scarves and hats .... they are done with the exception of one last bit of fringing ..... and I will get them taken to post office sometime soon. There will be NO CHARGE for these .... do you understand me ..... THEY ARE A GIFT. No arguments.

Guess I should have told you I'm 1/2 Irish ..... I can be stubborn with the rest of them .... lol ..... add the Italian on top of that and you got trouble lady ..... I will NOT accept payment! Final answer! LOL

I am so pleased that this symbol represents a far larger idea than I even intended.... dragonflies and flowers... and a lifesaving hobby all rolled up into one tattoo proposal. I think it will be beautiful. So glad I stayed up late to catch this post.

I sent another coin like this out into the world via a cache in Hawaii. "When a dragonfly flaps its wings in Hawaii".... a symbolic icon of future and past adventures hatches in CA.... Hope it works out!
