Amen...sometimes I get so angry with the greed of Bushie and the oil ilks that I feel like I could go on a fucking drunken rage.  I haven't done it yet - but it sure might feel good.  Unfortunately, it would only hurt me and not them.  But I understand the anger!!!!

Are you doing better today?  I am sweltering around here, so not online much.  It was 103 here yesterday and I think about the same today.  No a/c either, as we usually don't need it...hot hot hot

Wow ..... its 82 today ...... thunderstorms on and off ...... last night was lightning and thunder all night ..... pretty dark outside right now ...... hoping that no fires get started ..... think we skated last night .... luckily .....

There have been fires all over the place around here.  My postalperson (Patty the Post person) had a fire right next door to her place, in the hills around here.  And there's a third fire around Watsonville, or the Santa Cruz Mountains.  Damn...sorry about the lightning.  I'm not surprised.  It is so hot I have been spraying myself with water.  Kinda sick yesterday and today with the heat.

Well, thankfully I found the source of the smoke ...... a house down the road burning slash ...... and that is a good thing unless of course it gets out of control.

The fire season will be crazy this year ..... if this is a hint of whats to come ......

The fire season ALREADY is crazy this year.  I can't even imagine what is going to happen.  I keep hoping and praying for some uncommon summer rainful - and I mean a drencher. 

Good to hear about the slash burning.  But why in hell would someone do that NOW?  We are only allowed to do it during certain times of year and it is too late now around here - for sure.  Actually, we're not allowed to do that anymore around here - only outside of the towns.

 

I got your cool breezes.  They began to come in just a little while ago.  Much more manageable now.
