You guys have an MG?  Mr. Labs and I had 1964 MGB that he restored before we met.  I loved that car!  It didn't work well with a baby, though, so it had to go.

I drove it all summer two years ago and then blew the clutch ..... it sat last summer and hopefully it will be back on the road soon .... YAY!  Love the little car ..... and I would be very sad to have to see it go so I sympathize .......

Oh, I missed that post!  She is bee-yoo-tiful!  I love the color too.  British sports cars were something hubby and I had in common when met...my dad and I restored a TR6 when I was in college.  This is it pre-restoration...I have to get him to send me a photo of it when it was all done:

We have an MG 1100 too that hubby is turning into a little pickup ..... and he just found a 79 MGB with 50,000 original miles ..... original owner ..... runs and they want to get rid of it ...... so there may be yet another MG in the driveway ..... lol.

How fun!  I am sure there will be another one in our future someday.  We've talked about building a garage out back where hubby and the boys can work on a project car when they are a little older.

Senior citizen or senior in high school? lol  They will coincide perfectly in our home, as mr. labs will reach age 62 the same year our oldest graduates from high school.

Hey J.  Good morning.  Sending more beautiful weather up your way.  It was spectacular here for my family's visit.  But now it's actually been getting a little too hot - in the 80s.  We Californians are really spoiled though!  My niece and family are back in Tennessee.  Now they REALLY have a reason to bitch about weather.  It's been 95 there with 95 percent humidity!  Uck.  I hate the cold when the fog comes in, but I'd rather have that than the Tennessee weather.

 

I missed your original post about your garage sale.  I need to get back to that.  Hope you made a ton.  And yeah, gas is $4.59 here and goes up EVERY FREAKING DAY!!!!  Diesel is much worse.  My son drives a Mercedes diesel when not driving his 51 Chevy panel truck.  Damn.  I don't think we are going to be going on many vacations this summer, for lots of reasons.  Good thing we just finished the backyard, because I suspect that's where we're going to be living this summer.

 

Gotta go, friend.  It's only 4:51 a.m. but my spouse will be up soon and has to go back to work today at the university.

Oh yeah, btw, since I've been back on, I've had lotsa trouble here at Mindsay.  I noticed that when I can't get to somewhere (like your page), if I go backwards and then forwards again, it goes faster?????  Don't ask me why - it just seems to work. 

Keep sending that warm stuff this way .... I appreciate it, the garden appreciates it, mom appreciates it ...... its all good ..... lol

It is 100 in Santa Rosa today.  Cooler here in Sebastopol, as usual.  And inside ye olde haus (with plaster walls, 10 foot ceilings, crawl space 4 foot high, huge attic and trees), it's 74 degrees with ceiling fans on.  I won't complain though, as I have family in Philadelphia (96 degrees and high humidity) and in Memphis 98 degrees and 100 percent humidity from what I've heard).  And they have been asked to conserve electricity, as they might have brown-outs.  So it's great here...

I had no idea you were that warm down there ..... egads!  I'll still take some though ..... the wind has picked up again this afternoon ...... with the chill ......

Yeah, we weren't ready for this.  It had been in the high 70s all last week, thank goodness, when my family was here.  Then it started creeping into the 80s.  Then whammo.  It was supposed to be 80 something again today, but yow - hot.  The wind is supposed to come in tomorrow, which might mean the fog.  (blessed fog!)
