this living roller coaster that we plop down into every waking moment of our days, places us in the seats next to people we don't dig. we get set down next to people whose religions we dont believe in, whose lifestyle we dont approve of, whose sexuality isnt what we find acceptable. but we dont think about that. do we look at the person sitting next to us and say "aw hey youre gay/black/female, i cant go on this ride" ? uh, no. we sit our fucking fat asses in that seat and get ready for a thrill, with smiles on our faces and screaming at the top of our lungs. Maine has just taken away from the happiness of couples completely the equivalent to heterosexual couples. i'm far from religious, but i do know this. your god, more than anything that's said in any book, wants happiness on Earth. he wants you to love your neighbor, your friends, and more than that, the World and all that inhabit it with you. so, i ask you this. why can't we just sit down in our seats on this rickety old governmental roller coaster skeleton, fasten our seat belts, and enjoy the ride ? for once in our lives, let's go against the tide. live not in fear, but in understanding. i'm thoroughly disappointed in my home right now.

but here’s some news for you. go ahead and think we’re giving up, all hope is lost, “oh, no they repealed the law.” how about we get rid of the word “marriage” completely, and use the word “union”. after all, that’s what it is. a union of love between two people. TWO PEOPLE, not just opposite genders. if we called it a union, then it’ll be fixing the mistakes made years ago when they used a bible term, and mixed church and state. listen, i dont care if i get married in a church, i’ve always wanted to get married on a beach or in a field. just let me, we, us have equal opportunity to secure our future with our significant others. it’s not right to not be let into a hospital room, or be able to share life, because we’re not blood relatives, amongst other things. if i'm ever in a relationship, find this love people speak of, and have to watch my wife die because i'm not immediate family, i will die. THAT’S so wrong. not two women, or two men loving each other and wanting to spend the rest of their lives together, because the feeling you feel for your husband or wife, is EQUAL to what we feel for ours. we’re ALL human beings. that’s what i don’t understand. how can you deny select groups rights that only other select groups have ? or better yet, how can you do that to another human being ? if you’re going to say god doesn’t believe it’s right, and you don’t think it’s socially, or over all normal, acceptable, right. i’ve got something for ya. your jesus, didn’t believe in divorce. yet, 50 percent of heterosexual marriages end in divorce. and there’s plenty more. don’t mistake the bible, for your own arrogance.

way to go to repeal question one, man. i’m gonna break it to ya. we’re only just getting started. i hope you know how to fasten your seat belts. i will never forget this, and i will never stop fighting.
