Daammmmmnnnn!  If the fish you are after is even one-hundredth as large as that marine mammal who is glaring down at you & your boat, you are in for a lifetime of fish.  That lifetime will be somewhat shortened if BB takes umbrage at you snagging his scaly friends from the salty sea.

Yes, BB is so big, maybe the good Cap'n here should throw a harpoon o'er the top of him and ride up there a la the "worm riders" in Dune..

wendyjo, that is a BRILLIANT idea! Gus would look like a baby barnacle way up there on BB but the Yankees won't be using their cleated baseball shoes so I'm sure he could borrow a pair, and piton or two from climbers, and he could cling to BB's back.  Keeping with the fishing theme, he could be the captain of his 'sole'.
