I've had the same STD myself and had to make those humiliating calls to find out who was the carrier.  I was only seeing one man at the time and that's how I found out he was sleeping with other people.  Yes, other people.  Not just one other woman.  It really sucked.  At least chlamydia is curable and treatable, but more and more people are getting it through saliva, not just through having unprotected intercourse.  How I got it was by giving what I thought was a "safe" activity: giving a blow job.  Bodily fluids are still exchanged. 

However, karma kicks cheating guys in the ass because the way they get treated is a very painful procedure.  Men are usually the ones who spread the disease and they have to get this very long, large Q-tip put down through their pee hole in their penis to get at the chlamydia in their system.  This is not only the cure for men with chlamydia, but the test as well.  Men show no symptoms of the disease, only women do.  So don't feel too bad for your friend.  All the women have to do is put on some cream and take several pills and it clears up!

That really sucks!!!! but it reminds you to have safe sex and understand that the person you are having sex with may be lying to you. I always like to keep in my mind the thought that when i have sex with someone (my stlye is a little safer but not much) is that i am having sex with EVERYONE they had sex with.... it is kinda scary. tha tis why i am most comfortable with hubby!!!!

might have been cheating? honey, if it is chlamydia and she isn't sleeping with anybody else, then HELL YHA he's been poking somebody else. I mean, you can't get a STD from using the same toilet as someone who is infected. so obviously he is, and if she thinks that she should call and tell a few people to get tested, then apparently she knows that he is, unless of course she is calling those people because she herself slept with them, and in that case, maybe it came from one of them and not him? i'm not sure from the way you typed it out.

It could be either from him or the couple other guys she's slept with...I'm not sure

wow, thats scary. not only is she (or he ) exposing themselves to STD's there is also the risk of being affected with AIDS that can take up to ten years to show up in the body.

in today's world, that is my number one reason that I will tell my girls they should wait for marriage...not that rings make you immune...but one hopes there is faithfulness there, and it is definitely more of a commitment than just dating...
